You Never Know

They say tomorrow’s not promised
You never know which day is your last,
Which is why you should live for the present and future
And leave what’s done in the past,
What was done yesterday is a part of history
What can be done today could be monumental,
Don’t take for granted what you have in your grasp
Because there’s always someone less fortunate than you,
Don’t be afraid to tell the ones you love how you feel
don’t hold back for fear of how you’ll be judged,
Live your life to the fullest with no regrets
If needed, feel free to give someone deserving a hug,
Positive thoughts lead to positive results
Remove all negativity even if it’s only for a day,
You’ll be suprised of how quickly things may turn around
And how many good things may come your way,
People often put their focus on what doesn’t matter
Worrying about the things in which they have no control,
When they could be relishing the moments that are here and now
Distancing focus from what once was,
Often times we could’ve or should have
Thinking back to how a situation would have changed,
Not remembering that everything happens for a reason
And for everything, there is a time and place,
Just as fast as someone can walk into your life
They can be gone in the blink of an eye,
The key is to generate moments and memories that last forever
So when they’re gone you can have a laugh for every tear that you cry,
Friends and family will always remain
Friends and family will come and go,
The important ones will have an impact on your life
For the ones that got away
Some things you will never know!
